BREAKING: ‘Predator’ Russell Brand Convicted of Rape

About this feature

Actor and comedian Russell Brand faces significant prison time after a London jury found him guilty of rape and sexual assault following an emotional, weeks-long trial. While victims testified about abuses dating back decades—and new allegations from an alleged victim known as “Alice” emerge—Brand maintains that his encounters were entirely consensual. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down the major verdict and investigates what lies ahead alongside Safa Robinson-Ferrer, a criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor.
