Convicted murderer Steven Avery, and his nephew, Brendan Dassey, gained an international following in 2015 following the release of the Netflix TV show, "Making a Murderer." The show told the story of Avery and Dassey after they were charged in the gruesome 2005 murder of freelance photographer, Teresa Halbach, in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin.
