'THIS HAS TO STOP' Maghahain ng reklamo sa Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) at Facebook ang Office of the Ombudsman upang mabura at tuluyang mapigilan ang pagkalat ng "fake news" online. Ayon kay Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla sa isang press briefing nitong Biyernes (Nobyembre 6), nagdudulot ng pagdududa sa pamahalaan at mga aksyon ng kanyang opisina ang mga nasabing fake news. Isang halimbawa ni Remulla ang isang Facebook page na tumatalakay sa kaso ni dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez at ang umano'y kakayahan nitong makalabas ng kulungan. Bunsod nito, inanunsyo rin ni Remulla na magkakaroon ng "surprise visit" ang opisina sa mga kulungan upang maiwasan ang mga nasabing pagdududa.
